Do you remember pictures of Raymond Depardon dees? His footsteps in the desert, The interiors of hotels in New York, his battles in Beirut? Do you remember those seconds captured by Cartier-Bresson? Have you ever dived into the spaces fascinating and powerful Salgado? I remember also a japonese photograph who took pictures of trees, forests, rivers. It was so beautiful, simple and amazing. Here, it is they who fed me, who help me to discover my taste of the camera.
I started with a 24X36 Canon AE1, develop my pictures in the bathroom, did my mixes developers and fixatives, hung the pictures with clothes pegs over the tub. I like the distance that gives the photographer's eye, I stop and watch, be surprised by a light, a light, a look. There is something fragile in these fleeting moments, but often wonders to photograph.
